SPI Transaction and Logic Analysis

Visualise SPI command bytes and check voltage, interface and chip-select assumptions.

Guided setup

  1. Select SPI and enter command 9F with response bytes.nDecode bytes in transfer order.nSet clock waveform and inspect timing.nValidate the controller against a 3.3 V microSD module.

Expected observations

  • SPI is full-duplex and has no address byte.nChip-select boundaries and mode are required to interpret a real trace.nA bare microSD interface is not 5 V tolerant.
